Jeffrey Walls

Mr. Jeffrey Walls entered into rest on July 25, 2024, at Augusta University Wellstar Hospital.

 The family will receive friends on Monday, July 29, 2024, from 4pm until 6pm at Platt’s Funeral Home, Belair Chapel.

 Jeffrey Walls was born in Huntington, West Virginia to Robert C. Walls and the former Shirley Brooks. The family moved to Georgia, where he was a 1977 graduate of George P. Butler High School. Before his retirement, Jeffrey was a dedicated employee for many years as a Sears warehouse associate. He was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast. A lifelong Braves fan, he also enjoyed collecting baseball cards. He was also interested in astronomy and the cosmos. Jeffrey had a natural rapport with dogs and was a lifelong dog lover.

 He is survived by his mother, Shirley Walls Brantley, his brothers, Mark Walls (Kim) and Mike Walls, and his stepsister O’donna Black (Bill). He is also survived by his uncle, Russell Brooks, his nieces Amanda O’Keefe (Dennis) and Ashley Jordan (Tyler), his nephew, Taylor Strange, and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert C. Walls and his stepfather, William Brantley.

 The family would like to thank the staff at Augusta University Wellness Center for the loving care shown to Jeffrey during his illness.
