Lorraine Lum O’Quinn,96, entered into rest on July 2, 2024.

 A memorial service will be offered Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church with burial to follow in the Memorial Garden. 3321 Wheeler Rd, Augusta GA 30909. The service will be live streamed. 

 Mrs. O’Quinn is survived by her son, Alan Joe (Carol); daughters, Connie Audet (Louis), Marilyn Dill (Wally) and Joanie McCraw (Andy); brother, Arthur Lum; grandchildren, Kristin Simpson (Greg), Walter Dill (Tracy), Stephen Joe (Rodney), Audra Ralston (Josh) and Alison Joe; great-grandchildren, Elyssa Simpson, Kayla Simpson, Greyson Simpson, Elizabeth Dill, Hunter Tyler (Alex), Avereigh Canaday (Ty), Ruthie Ralston, Rose Ralston, William Ralston, and Abbie Ralston; and great-great-grandchildren, Brantley Plaisance, Boden Plaisance, Evelyn Plaisance, and Toben Tyler. She is preceded in death by her parents and 9 sisters and brothers.

 Mrs. O’Quinn was a faithful and active member of St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church as evident in her many years of service and participation in church activities. She was an active member of the Elks Women’s Auxiliary and the Red Hat Classic Society of Augusta. Those who knew her will remember her love of ballroom dancing with her husband Bill O’Quinn at the Arthur Murray dance studios and in other venues in the Augusta area. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and service to others, and an enthusiasm and unquenchable curiosity for the world. 

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church in Augusta or Alzheimer’s Association. 

All floral deliveries should be made to the church.
