Sheryl Lynn Tesch

Mrs. Sheryl Lynn Tesch, beloved wife of 40 years of David Tesch, entered into rest on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at WellStar Augusta.

Sheryl was born in San Diego, California to William Brand and the former Doris Dietz. The military brought the family to Augusta, where Sheryl attended Aquinas High School. After graduating, she went on to earn her degree from Augusta College, now Augusta University. She moved back to California where she met the love of her life, David Tesch. They married on September 10, 1983. After moving back to the CSRA, she worked for the Medical College of Georgia as a medical technician until her retirement. After retirement, she enjoyed spending her days at The Sewing Barn where she made wonderful quilts with her friends to include Kathleen Clark and Lynda W. Morris along with many others. 

In addition to her husband, David, she is survived by a daughter, Stefanie DeJong (Brian), her grandchildren, Owen, Zander and Erin, and her close friends, Gay Burch and Kathleen Clark. She will also be missed by her coworkers, including Joyce Oliver and Issac L. Greene.
