MRS. ANDRELE PIERRE

Grovetown – Mrs. Andrele Immaculee Pierre, beloved wife of Hugo J. Pierre, entered into rest on Saturday May 5, 2012 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the Augusta First Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor B.J. Boles officiating. Entombment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

In addition to her husband of 49 years, Hugo, she is survived by her three sons, Andy Pierre of Salisbury, MD., Marvin Pierre of Virginia Beach, VA., and adopted son Charles Pierre of Boston, MA.; her three daughters-in-law, Tina Pierre, Michelle Glemaud, and Therese LaBossiere Pierre; two sisters, Conceptie Robillard and Anastasie Venita Robillard, both of Boston, MA.; seven grandchildren; and numerous other extended family members.

Mrs. Pierre earned Bachelor’s Degrees in Mathematics/Science and in Nursing. She also earned post-graduate degrees, namely a Law Degree, a Master’s Degree in Nursing, and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. Mrs. Pierre spent nearly 50 years working as an educator and nurse in Haiti, Africa, and the United States. After moving to the Augusta, GA area with her husband Hugo in 1999, Mrs. Pierre put aside retirement to work at 2 local hospitals: University Hospital and Medical College of Georgia (MCG).

Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Augusta Seventh-day Adventist School, 4301 Wheeler Road, Augusta, Georgia 30907.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time.
