Barbara C. Beazley

Evans, GA – Barbara C. Beazley, 70, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at University Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. chapel with Chaplain Frankie May officiating.

Barbara was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a loyal and constant support to her husband, Bill B. Beazley. Together they enjoyed traveling to the beach or to the mountains. They spent time traveling throughout Europe as well. Barbara also enjoyed reading and spending time with her family which she loved dearly. On a professional level, Barbara was a woman of many accomplishments. She was the President of Prudential Beazley Real Estate, Vice-President of Bill Beazley Homes, and the Past President of the Builders Association of Metro Augusta. She was the founder of the Sales and Marketing Counsel at the Builders Association and founder of the Columbia County Foundation for Children.

Survivors include her husband, Bill B. Beazley of Evans, GA, two sons, Todd Bennett and wife Vicky of Evans, GA, Stephen Beazley and wife Kristin of Evans, GA, three grandchildren, Tina Carroll and husband Davey, Collin Beazley, Elise Beazley, two great grandchildren, Jaden Carroll, and Benett Carroll.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service with a reception following the service.
