Mrs. Bernice Merritt, beloved wife of the late Stanley Merritt, entered into rest on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at her residence
.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Rehoboth Methodist Cemetery in Greenwood, S.C.

Mrs. Merritt welcomed Masters visitors at her home every year, and made friends worldwide. She was a member of National Hills Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons; Don Merritt and David Merritt, and his wife, Diane Merritt, her brothers; John Whitmire and Daniel Whitmire, her sisters; Marlene Brand, Mildred Lauter and Guyma Nicholson, as well as a grandson, Joshua Merritt and a daughter in law, Meril Merritt. She was preceded in death by her husband; Stanley, her son; Stan, her parents; Clara and Guy Whitmire, her brothers; Haskell and Jack Whitmire and a sister; Maydeth Orr.
