Mr. Bobby E. Cushman

Augusta, GA – Mr. Bobby Eugene Cushman, 74, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 19, 2011 surrounded by his loving wife of 42 years and family.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Life Center Church, 114 N. Belair Road, Evans, GA with Rev. John E. Ohmes and Rev. Cecil Bush officiating.

Mr. Cushman attended Abundant Life Church which is now Life Center where he was a faithful witness for the Lord before his illness. He loved spending time hunting, fishing with friends and taking family vacations. During his last years he never complained as his health diminished.
In addition to his wife Betty, Mr. Cushman is survived by his children, Teresa Bush (Brian) of Jesup, GA, Angela B. Anderson (Roland) of Augusta, Patricia Beard (Timothy) of Harlem, Danny Beard (Gail) of Harlem, Ricky Beard, and Randy Beard (Amie) both of Augusta; his brothers, Jack Cushman, Terry Cushman, Ronnie Cushman, Jimmy Cushman, and Carl Cushman; his 15 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Cushman was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Irvin and Leila Craig Cushman, and also by his sister, Sara Stephens.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Cushman’s grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank the University Hospital & Trinity Hospice for the wonderful care they provided during his last days.
