Christopher Anthony Smith, Jr.

EVANS- Christopher “Chris” Anthony Smith, Jr, 17, entered into rest on Saturday, July 18, 2009.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at 11:00 am at West Acres Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Chris was a rising senior at Greenbrier High School and was a member of the football team.

He is survived by his mother and father, Robert and Temeka Keeler, his biological father, Christopher A. Smith, Sr., of Phenix City, AL., his brother, Dakota Robert Elwood Keeler, and his two sisters, Brianna Renee Smith and Alyvia Elise Keeler, all of Evans, his grandparents, Mamie Lesane of Fort Pierce, FL., Dennis and Roseann Keeler of Port St. Lucie, FL., and Sarah and James Smith of Fort Pierce, FL.,. He is also survived by his uncles, Charlie Lesane and Eric Keeler, both of Fort Pierce, and an aunt, Carla Sikes of Marigate, Florida.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, July 22, 2009 from 5:00pm until 8:00 pm.

A memorial fund has been established in Chris’ honor, and if so desired, contributions may be at any area Georgia Bank and Trust.
