David L. Gainey

Augusta, GA – Mr. David Leslie Gainey, 55, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at University Hospital.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Church of the Most Holy Trinity with Rev. Jacek Szuster serving as celebrant. Interment to follow in Pineview Cemetery in North Augusta.

Mr. Gainey worked for many years with Fluor Construction. He will be remembered as a loving father and son whose memory will be forever treasured.

Mr. Gainey is survived by his wife, Angie Gainey; his sons, Dane and Josh Gainey; his mother, Mary Smith Gainey; and his brothers, Jimmy and Keith Gainey.

Pallbearers will be Mike Beggs, Heywood Beggs, Larry Beggs, Steven Davis, Terry Bale, and Bob Colbourne.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, January 17, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
