It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Elizabeth Ann Neuser Keefe. She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her children. She was the cornerstone of our family, cherished by her 4 daughters and three sons-in-law: Colleen Cournot, Susan Tuttle, Leesa Moore, Lori Taylor, Michael Moore, Philip Tugendrajch, and Martin Taylor. Her presence brought light and love to the lives of her 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Bette was born in Archibald, Pennsylvania in the heart of coal mining country during the Great Depression. Her father passed away when she was a small child leaving the family with modest but adequate resources. Her family was dedicated to sharing what they had with their community. One of her responsibilities was to deliver food baskets by wagon to those in need. She never forgot her blessings and thus showered her family and friends with kindness and generosity.
Mom was a dynamic Girl Scout leader and PTA President. Her love of “home” and family inspired her to become a real estate agent. She worked tirelessly to help families’ dreams of home ownership come true.
Bette was a loving soul who dedicated her life to her family. She will forever be remembered for her unwavering devotion and beautiful memories she created with us. Her legacy of warmth and compassion will continue to inspire us all.
Her life will be celebrated at a service at St Teresa of Avila Catholic Church on Friday March 8th at 11:00 am. Located at 4921 Columbia Road, Grovetown, GA. A reception at her home will follow at 4442 Pierwood Way, Evans, GA. Our family requests no flowers or donations, but we welcome your prayers.
May her spirit live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be dearly missed and always remembered.
