Harold Craig Plunkett

Evans, GA – Harold Craig Plunkett, 42, entered into rest on Thursday, January 20, 2011.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 24, 2011 at West Acres Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.

Craig was a member of West Acres Baptist Church. He was a former member of Glenn Hills Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. Craig loved spending time with his family and coaching his sons at Martinez – Evans Little League. He also loved watching his favorite football team, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Craig was a loving husband, father, son, and friend.

Survivors include his loving wife of 21 years, Amy L. Plunkett, his mother, Mary B. Plunkett, two sons, Spencer Craig Plunkett and Grant Clayton Plunkett, all of Evans, GA, one brother, Tommy B. Plunkett and wife Debbie of Pageland, SC, father and mother-in-law, Paul and Lucy Felberg of North Augusta,SC. Craig was preceded in death by his father, the late Harold J. Plunkett and his brother, the late Steve C. Plunkett.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Dowdle, Ryan Morningstar, Jason Scherer, Joe Wright, Wayne McKenney, Joey Allen, Gary Brown, Michael Hammersmith, and John Wolford. Honorary pallbearers will be past players of the Orioles Baseball Team at Martinez-Evans Little League.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service time at the church.
