AUGUSTA, GA - Harry Robert Hutton passed away on September 4, 2021 at A U Medical Center.
Graveside service will be held on Monday September 13, 2021 at 11:00 am in Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Dexter Lambert officiating.
Mr. Hutton was born October 31, 1939 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He started his career in the late 1950s working at the Calgary Stampede for the famed Royal American Shows. In 1962, the Seattle Wheel was designed and made its debut at the Seattle World’s Fair. In 1963, this marvelous machine was traveling with the Royal American Show. Harry joined the crew and took the position near its axle installing the spokes. Not long after, Harry found himself working on another Seattle Wheel production model traveling with the James H Drew Shows. As he grew with the company, he joined the electrical department assisting with the fueling of the generators. He stayed with the Drew Shows until his retirement working alongside of many notable co-workers including Sonya Reybold, James Graybeal, Robert Earl Murphy, Rebecca Sparks, Eugene Sabot and many more. His personality was infectious touching the hearts of all that knew him well.
