Kay White

Evans, GA. – Mrs. Kathryn “Kay” Whittle White, 84, beloved wife of the late Walter Preston White, Jr., entered into rest Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday September 25, 2010 at Platt’s Belair Rd. Chapel with Dr. Leslie Holmes officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30 PM in Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Kannapolis, NC.

Survivors include her two daughters, Becky White Baquet and husband Glen of Union Bridge, MD and Amy White Shaw and husband Paul Moore of Evans, GA; a brother, Howard H. Whittle, Jr. of Concord, NC; four grandchildren, Daniel Baquet, David Baquet, Ashley Shaw and Valerie Shaw.

A native of Philadelphia, PA., Mrs. White was a homemaker and a member of Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 9:00 AM until service time.
