Mary Goodwin Hardin

Evans,GA.- Mrs. Mary Goodwin Hardin 80, wife of the late James Hardin entered into rest at her residence on Saturday, December 27, 2008.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Crawford Ave. Chapel of Platt’s Funeral Home . Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.

Survivors include her children, David Brinson Sr. of Augusta, Karen Lumpkin of Grovetown, Ann Huff and her husband Clint of Lincolnton, and Jimmy Hardin of Atlanta. Brothers, William C. Goodwin and his wife Betty of Evans, Hugh W. Goodwin and wife Roberta, and sister, Cheri G. Lee and husband Wilton of Daytona, Fl. Six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mrs. Hardin was a local business owner she owned the House of Fabrics and Customs by Mary. She was proud of her work from the Whitehouse to Greece. She always enjoyed the friends and customers she made.

Pallbearers will be, David Brinson II, Evan Luda, Jay Evans, Nick Lumpkin, Gary Goodwin, Tyler Huff.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.
