Peggy Carolyn Rich

Peggy Carolyn Barnett Rich, 80, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away at the home of her daughter Deborah (Debbie) Rich and son in law Robert (Bob) Connell on October 21, 2017 in Augusta, GA.

She was preceded in death by her husband William (Buddy) Rich, son William (Randy) Rich, and granddaughter Kate Caroline Connell.

Peggy was a source of inspiration for many in her career of 35 years as an inspector at Owens Illinois Plastics in Atlanta, GA and she always worked to be a good role model for all in her life.

A special thank you to our nephew Nick Connell for all his help on her adventure to Sylacauga, AL and back to Augusta GA and to everyone in Sylacauga that helped her while she was there. She loved you all very much. To Lillie and Stacy, we cannot thank you enough for your caregiving and support here in Augusta.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM at Westover Memorial Park on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 with Rev. Dusty Wammack officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
