Robert S. Bob Logan

Evans, GA – Robert S. “Bob” Logan, 85, husband of the late Barbera Logan, entered into rest on Sunday February 21, 2010. He was a resident of Augusta Gardens and formerly of 1638 Walton Way for 55 years.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Woodlawn Baptist Church with Pastor Rich Bowen officiating. Mr. Logan will lie in state one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.

Bob was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church for over 60 years. He was also a member of the North Augusta Sheffield Club. Bob served during WWII and retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass. He loved to spend time playing golf.

Survivors include his son; Michael Logan and wife Teresa O’Brien Logan of Grovetown, GA, his daughter; Linda Logan Patterson and husband Joseph F. Patterson of New Holland, PA, one sister; Vivian A. Logan of Greenwood, SC, five grandchildren; Patrick Brian Logan, Robert Michael Logan, Timothy Ryan Logan and wife Marla, Elizabeth Logan Patterson, Benjamin Joseph Patterson, six great grandchildren; Christopher, Jonathan, Jacob, Christian, Trenton, and Aubrey Logan. In addition to his wife, Bob was preceded in death by his brothers; Frank Logan, James Logan, William Logan, George Logan, and sister; Juanita Drennan.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Stan Logan, Jim Logan, Dennis O’Brien, Harvey Drennan, and Parks Motlow. Honorary pallbearers will be Davis Verdery and the Brown Sunday School Class.
