Ronald Thomas Meyers (Tink), age 86 of Martinez (formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) entered into rest on Sunday, November 22, 2020.
Ronald was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Robert Meyers and Margarite Ahearn Meyers. He retired as a bus driver for the Port Authority of Allegheny County. He loved Pittsburgh sports (Go Steelers!) and gardening, but above all he loved his family. Ronald was a selfless and giving man who always put others before himself.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dawn Ann Gribble Meyers; and son-in-law, Theodore Easlick.
He is survived by his three children, Kim Easlick of Wilmington, North Carolina, Ron Meyers (Diane) of Martinez, Georgia, Matthew Meyers (Tammy Lewis) of Maylene, Alabama; five grandchildren, Kevin Easlick, Zachary Easlick, Brendan Easlick, Mitchell Meyers, and Lindsay Meyers; and great grandson, Jack Easlick.
Services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 28, 2020 in the Chapel of Platt’s Belair Road, Evans, Georgia. Dr. J. Andrew Menger will officiate. Entombment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens where he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife of 61 years.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, 106 SRP Drive, Evans, GA 30809; or to the Animal Rescue League, 6926 Hamilton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15208.
