William Herbert Gilstrap Jr

William Herbert Gilstrap, Jr., 78, entered into rest on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at his residence.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening, February 12, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Interment will be private.

Herbert worked for many years in car sales with Master Pontiac, and in real estate with Century 21 Realty. He was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County where he played football. Herbert was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and loved doing genealogy research.

He is survived by his two sons and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elisabeth Adams Gilstrap.
