Alva "Al" Gaskin

Mr. Alva “Al” Dozier Gaskin III, son of Alva and Debbie Gaskin, entered into rest on Monday, February 5, 2024 at Pruitt Health-Richmond.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2024, in the Belair Road Chapel of Platt’s Funeral Home with Dr J. Andrew Menger officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service.

Al was born on August 3, 1981. He graduated from Greenbrier High School and attended Clemson University. He had been a member and past president of the CSRA Chapter of Professional Construction Estimators Association.

In addition to his parents, Al is survived by his sister, Kathy Gaskin (Dan Burleigh), his grandmother Doliene Bedenbaugh, stepson Levi Rollo (Melody), stepdaughter Kirstie Rollo, five step grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
