Anne M. Cavadel

Ms. Anne M. Cavadel, 85, of Evans, GA, went home to the Lord on May 26, 2023, at Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta.

Our mother was born in Philadelphia, PA, to Irene and John Trimback on September 12, 1937. She went to school in Philadelphia. She married our father, Gene C. Cavadel, on April 6, 1957, in Augusta, GA.

Anne worked as a secretary for Juvenile Court for the State of Georgia for 20 years. First and most important, however, she was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

Our mother is preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters.

Our mother is survived by daughters Cheryl Cavadel and Kelly Hulett (John), grandsons Steven Fitzwilliam (Tabitha), Charles Hulett (Dixie), and Noah Hulett, and great-grandchildren Kai Jasper Hulett and Lydia Adeline Fitzwilliam.

Pallbearers will be our mother’s son-in-law and grandsons.

Memorials may be given to St. Jude Hospital.

Our family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Doctor’s Hospital, Hospice, Harborview Rehabilitation, and to Father Theodore Agba of Saint Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.

Visitation will be limited to family members.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Platt’s Funeral Home in Evans, Ga., with Father Theodore Agba of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Platt’s Funeral Home.
