Mrs. Anne Miller Shultzaberger, 91, of Augusta, GA died Tuesday October 26, 2021 at Orange Park Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL.
Mrs. Shultzaberger was a native of Augusta, Georgia and lived there for over 85 years. She lived in Jacksonville, Florida with her family for the last 6 years of her life, but always considered Georgia her home. She was a charter member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church and served many roles at the church over the years. She will be remembered for her deep faith, sparkling personality and love for her family.
Up until her passing, Anne was very active in her community. She served on the “Welcome Committee”, played canasta every week, sang with the Senior Seranaders, and could often be found taking a turn around the “Country Store” or getting her hair done. She loved visits from her family during the week and going out to eat or shopping on the weekend. She was well loved by her family and friends and many joked about her being a “Bee Charmer” because she could persuade people into doing just about anything.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Mitchell Miller and her second husband John Shultzaberger, her sisters, Jeanne Broadwater & Ernestine Adams, and her brother Wade Sprouse.
She is survived by her daughter Debra Wirz and 4 grandchildren, Jennifer, Jacob, Timothy and Kathleen as well as her stepchildren Paula (Ron) Fuller and their son Christopher and Alan Shulzaberger.
The family will receive friends on Monday November 1, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Platt’s Funeral Home, Crawford Avenue.
A graveside service will be held in Westover Memorial Park at 10:00am on Tuesday November 2, 2021 with Rev. Rick Nevard officiating.
