Barbara Gloria Mulherin

Augusta, GA - Mrs. Barbara D. (Bobbie) Mulherin, 80, entered into rest on January 4, 2011 at Trinity Hospital after a brief illness.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2011 with Father Gerald Regan as celebrant. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Mrs. Mulherin was active for many years in events at St. Mary’s Church and School. She was formerly a member of the Augusta Country Club. Mrs. Mulherin was an active member and past president (1993 -1995) of the Country Hills Garden Club and a Master Flower Show Judge Emeritus. She was a member of the East Georgia Judges Counsel and a state and national life member of the Garden Counsel. She was also an award winning pottery artist and painter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard W. Mulherin, and her two sons, Richard W. Mulherin, Jr. and Kevin Mulherin. She is survived by her daughters Lala Streett and husband Jerry of Buford, GA, Cindy Scherer and husband John, her grandson, C. Anthony Woodward, her granddaughter, Kristen Widener and husband Ryan, and great grandson, Walker Widener all of Augusta, GA.
Pallbearers will be Tony Woodward, Phil Woodward, Grant Williams, David Mulherin, Ken Mulherin, and Mike Mulherin.
