Ms. Beatrice Eberhart entered God’s kingdom on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at her residence.
Beatrice, better known as “Bebe”, was born in McCormick, South Carolina on March 20, 1949, to the late Joseph and Helen Yassney.
Bebe was the most loving and devoted mother, sister and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters; Maria Eberhart, Sheryl Anderson (John) and Kathryn Rossi (Randy), her grandchildren, Alyssa Anderson, Michaela Marr, Brianna Watts, Abigail Rossi and Jacob Rossi, and her brother, Eddie Yassney (Shirley).
Bebe graduated from Augusta Technical College with a Medical Technology degree and attended Augusta University. For over 31 years, she supported programs at Augusta University Medical Center as a Laboratory Technologist. During that time, she became certified as a Histocompatibility Technologist and worked selflessly for the majority of her career supporting both the Kidney and Bone Marrow Transplant programs. The contributions she made toward improving the quality of life for others carries on to this day. Bebe retired from AUMC in 2011 and enjoyed traveling especially beach living and spending quality time with family and close friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2022 in the chapel of Platt’s Funeral Home on Belair Road, with longtime friend, Mr. Patrick Westover officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
