Beverly H. Whaley

Evans, GA – Mrs. Beverly H. Whaley,69, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at University Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM at The Sanctuary Church with Pastor Bryan Cockrell and Pastor Bobby Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Whaley was a native of Augusta. She was a member of The Sanctuary Church. Beverly was a loving Christian, Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.

Mrs. Whaley is preceded in death by her mother, Sue H. Hyman, father, Glenn Hyman, and sister Bobbie Edge.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, William A. Whaley of Evans, GA; Step Mother, Ruth Hyman of Norwood, GA; one son, Daryl Whaley and wife Jeanette of Evans, GA, one daughter Lynn Weathers and husband James of Martinez, GA; two brothers, Larry Hyman and wife Renell of Evans, GA, Barry Hyman and wife Betty of Norwood, GA, two sisters, Ann Hubbard of Norwood, GA, Nell Hobbs and husband Tommy of Avera, GA; four grandchildren, David Weathers, Steffany Weathers, Brittany Reese, Taylor Reese, and two great grandchildren, Layla Weathers, Cash Galati.
