Billie Ann Zagar

Billie Ann Zagar of Sandersville, Georgia passed away peacefully on August 11, 2022 at her home in Appling, Georgia.

Billie Ann was born in Old Fort, North Carolina to Sheppie Sheppard and William Eaton, Jr. on May 3, 1929.

She attended school in Sandersville, Georgia. She married Joseph Zagar, Jr. on November 6, 1947. She worked for the gas company in Sandersville, Georgia for many years.

She was an active member of the Garden Club of Augusta, Georgia and earned the title of Master Gardener. She was a member of Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church of Augusta, Georgia.

Billie Ann is preceded in death by her father and mother. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Zagar, Jr. and daughter, Linda Lee Baggott.

Billie Ann is survived by her son-in-law, Robert Baggott as well as her granddaughter, Christy Locke and her grandson, Robert Baggott, Jr. She has two great-grandsons whom she enjoyed very much.
