Brittny Jennifer Kiesow

July 28, 1984 — February 17, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brittny Jennifer (Malchow) Kiesow, who left this world on February 17, 2025, in Evans, Georgia, at the tender age of 40. Born on July 28, 1984, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Brittny enriched the lives of everyone who crossed her path with her radiant smile and kind-hearted nature.

Brittny treasured her accomplishment in earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh in 2007, a milestone that marked the beginning of her journey to fulfill her dream of caring for others. A dedicated and passionate nurse, Brittny devoted fifteen years of her career to caring for hospitalized children. She spent ten years caring for babies and children in the Cardiac ICU at Children's Hospital Wisconsin and spent an additional five years as a NICU nurse caring for infants at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. Her dedication to her patients exemplified her nurturing spirit and kindness, qualities that will be remembered fondly by her colleagues and the families she served.

Brittny was not only a remarkable professional; she was also a loving wife and mother. She leaves behind her adoring husband, Nick Kiesow, and their three beautiful children, Kasen, Landry, and Sabryn. Brittny embraced motherhood with pride, always engaging in her children’s lives and providing unwavering support for their personal, school, and community activities. The warmth of her love created a nurturing environment where her children thrived and felt valued.

Brittny cherished moments spent with her family. She delighted in traveling to new and unique destinations, appreciating the beauty of sunrises and sunsets were some of her favorites. Her hobbies included photography, reading, and painting, all of which filled her life with creativity and wonder. Family time was paramount, and she created everlasting memories during road trips and adventures together. Those who knew her will forever recall the inviting warmth of her smile and the joy she brought into their lives.

Brittny’s journey through life was enriched by faith. She was confirmed at a Lutheran church in Wisconsin and when she started her family they became members at a local church. After moving to Georgia, her journey was revitalized through joining a weekly bible study group, allowing her to provide spiritual support and guidance for her children who elected to join a weekly spiritual school club.

She is mourned by her loving mother, Tana Jean Malchow; her father, Brian Hodorowski; her stepmother, Tanya Schmidt; and her sister, Tori Panzenhagen (Nate). Brittny also leaves behind many cherished relatives, including beloved grandma, Nan Jean Kiesow, as well as her father-in-law, Dave Kiesow; mother-in-law, Barb Kiesow; sisters-in-law, Taylor Kiesow and Carly Anderson (Mitch); mother-in-law, Gay Slosser; brother-in-law, D.J. Slosser, and so many wonderful friends and extended family.

A memorial visitation in honor of Brittny will be held on February 28, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Platt's Funeral Home in Evans, Georgia. At a later date (pending announcement) Brittny will have a memorial visitation, funeral service, and be placed to rest in Wisconsin.
