César Enrique D’Alençon Zapata, 93, of Grovetown, passed away on October 20, 2024 in Grovetown, GA
Enrique was born in Santiago, Chile to Julio D’Alençon and Rosa Zapata on November 2, 1930. He went to school at Colegio Juan Bosco in Santiago, Chile. He married Yolanda Valdés on September 22, 1957 in Santiago, Chile.
He worked as an accountant for Empresa de los Ferrocarriles del Estado in Santiago, Chile. In 1977 he moved to Madrid, Spain where he founded his own renovation and building company.
On November 15, 1980, he and his family were baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Enrique is preceded in death by his wife Yolanda Valdés, daughter Lorena Smith, father Julio D’Alençon, mother Rosa Zapata, brothers Julio Eduardo D’Alençon, Ricardo Augusto D’Alençon, Rene Alberto D’Alençon, Jesus Gregorio D’Alencon and sister Maria Orietta D’Alençon
Enrique is survived by his son Enrique (Mindy) D’Alençon, daughter Paulina Cassidy, grandchildren Alexandria Cassidy, Michael Smith, Veronica Smith, Enrique D’Alençon, Sergio D’Alençon, Oscar D’Alençon, Alex D’Alençon and great-grandchildren Oscar D’Alençon, Roman Smith and Hugo D’Alençon.
The family of Enrique wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the LDS church, Crescent Hospice and close friends for all their support and care provided during this time
Memorial services will be held at 1700 on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Harlem, GA.
