Claude Robert Wilkes Sr

Mr. Claude Robert Wilkes, Sr, 85, entered into his eternal life on Thursday, December 14, at the VA Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Whole Life Ministries with Dr. Sandra Kennedy and Dr. Wayne Bruner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the church. Entombment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Mr. Wilkes was an Army veteran and served in Korea. He was a very active member of Whole Life for many years and loved to serve his Lord and Savior.

He is survived by his son, Claude R. “Bobby” Wilkes, Jr., his grandchildren, Summer Wilkes and Claude Robert Wilkes III, a great grandchild, Carson Wilkes; a sister, Joan Salem; and a host of other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Margaret Wilkes; his wives, Wanda and Barbara WIlkes; his sisters, Geraldine Samson, Betty Blazers, Gloria Salem and Joyce Bowens.
