Dennis L. Swanson

Mr. Dennis L. Swanson, beloved husband of Carol Swanson, entered into rest on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Woods officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time.

In addition to his wife, Carol, he is survived by his children; Matthew Swanson of Evans, Ron Swanson of Iowa, and Kristi Hestness of Iowa, his grandchildren; Tony Swanson, Rae Ann Evans, Josi Swanson, Thomas Swanson, Juliette Swanson, Katherine Swanson and his brother and sister; Monte Swanson and Sherry Johnson, both of Iowa.

The family would like to thank Dr. David Squires and Augusta Oncology and the Encompass Hospice staff for the compassion and care given to Dennis during his illness.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Community Christian Academy, 4594 Columbia Road, Martinez, Ga. 30907.
