Edward Johnson

Mr. Edward Johnson, beloved husband of the late Pearl Mims Johnson, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at his residence.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, December 27 in the chapel of Warren Baptist Church. 

Mr. Johnson was a veteran who served with the Army in Korea. He was a member of IBEW Local 1579 and a member of Warren Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sisters, Carolyn “Tootsie” Kent, Beverly Sprouse (Ted) and Sarah Swint (Tommy), son in law, William “Bill” Hill, step-son, Randy Spivey and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Pearl, his mother, Louise J. Wylds, daughter in law, Julie Spivey Hill, brothers, James W. Wylds Jr., Tony M . Wylds, and a sister, Jean “Loonie” Latislaw.
