Elizabeth L. Templin
January 25, 1947- November 27, 2024
Elizabeth was a remarkable woman whose seventy-seven beautiful years impacted the lives of many. She was so proud to be "Nana" and "Grandma T" to twelve amazing grandchildren. There wasn’t a person she met that she didn't speak to about them. They brought her great joy and they loved her dearly. Elizabeth was a mother of three children who adored her, and we would do anything for her because she did everything for us. Growing up, she was at every sporting event, play, or extracurricular activity we had. We always knew we could count on her. Though she had many challenges in her life, she had the strength and determination to fight and overcome. We saw that same strength and determination before her passing. She was always a source of comfort for us, and we learned so much from her that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Our mom will be greatly missed because she loved fiercely, had the best sense of humor and always kept us on our toes. Some of our fondest memories of her are her love of music, Elvis, the Bee Gees, the Golden Girls, the word "refreshing", her love of animals and especially her love of her sweet kitty, Sofia. Sofia meant the world to her and Sofia is greatly missing her “mama”. Our kids marveled at how deeply grateful their Nana was for every gift, and how she simply loved spending time with her family. She never needed anything fancy, she just needed us, and we needed her. Her departure leaves a huge void, but we were blessed to be with her as she stepped into eternity and into the arms of her Savior.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Melvin and Elizabeth (Betty) Stazinski, and her oldest sister, Judy Dees. She is survived by her children Jeff (Nikki) Templin and their children: Brooke and Ashlynn; Kelly (Fred) Turner and their children: Emily, Jason, Sydney, Lauren and Brody; Kristen (Steven) Lovell and their children: Taylor, Ethan (Emery), Grace, Tessa and Jake; her brother Richard Stazinski, sister Lorraine Beall (dec. Bill) and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will be having a private celebration of her life.
