Evelyn Jeanette Bramlett

Evelyn Jeanette Bramlett, 87 of Harlem, passed away on September 12th, 2023 in Augusta, Georgia surrounded by family.

Evelyn was born in Picayune, Mississippi to Ottis and Verna Bruhl on July 24th, 1936. She went to school at Vigor High. She married the love of her life Earl Bramlett on June 28th, 1958 in Prichard Alabama.

Evelyn was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Grovetown Georgia. She was dedicated to the Lord and her faith, and loved her church family dearly. Evelyn was a wonderful and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother blessed with family that loved and adored her. She loved to cook, and bake. Her peach cobbler and biscuits were legendary! She enjoyed having family dinners together. She adored her grand babies and great grand babies, the joy she had in watching them was touching. Her love for her family was unmatched.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her son, Stephen Earl Bramlett, grandson, Matthew Earl Bramlett, her parents Ottis and Verna Bruhl, her brothers, Ray(Audrey) Bruhl, Charles Bruhl, and Jimmy (Naomi) Bruhl.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, Earl Bramlett, daughters Vickie (Reid) Davis, Tammie Ashmore, her sister Brenda (Frank) Adcock , grand children Heather (Tommy) Lee, Amanda (Austin) Vaughn , great grand children, Carter, Kennedy, Brody and Hampton.

Pallbearers will be Reid Davis, Austin Vaughn, Carley Bramlett, Lesley Jones, Darrell Vaughn, Eddie Dees, Honorary Pallbearers , Tommy Lee & Carl Lynn.

Visitation will be 10:00-11:00AM, September 15th, 2023 Platt’s Funeral Home, 337 N. Belair Rd , Evans GA 30809, Funeral services to follow will be held at 11:00-12:00AM, September 15th, 2023, Dewain French officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
