Giuseppe Sabino Anderson

With profound sadness, we share the passing of our precious Giuseppe Sabino Anderson, who left this world at just four and a half years old. Born with Ohtahara Syndrome, Giuseppe faced extraordinary challenges throughout his life but touched countless hearts with his resilience and quiet strength. 

Giuseppe passed away peacefully in his father’s arms after a valiant two-and-a-half-week battle with pneumonia.

Though he faced significant limitations, his life was a testament to the power of love, perseverance, and the joy found in even the smallest of moments. His beautiful red curly hair, long eyelashes, and serene presence endeared him to everyone who met him. Smiles and laughs were rare but deeply treasured, lighting up the lives of those privileged to witness them. Giuseppe loved cuddling, listening to music, and watching Bluey. He found great comfort sitting on his dad's lap, where they spent countless hours watching cartoons and singing songs together. 

Always mischievous, he delighted in “interrupting” his dad’s phone conversations, a playful habit that brought laughter even in the hardest times. Giuseppe was a beloved student at Apparo Academy in Augusta, GA, where he participated in therapy and play. 

His days were filled with love and care from those who saw not just his challenges but his remarkable spirit. His family will forever hold the memory of his courage, his rare moments of joy, and the profound love he brought into their lives. 

Giuseppe is survived by his devoted father, mother, extended family, and a community of friends and caregivers who cherished him deeply. 

A celebration of Giuseppe’s life will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 6-8 PM at Platt’s Funeral Home in Evans.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Apparo Academy in his honor, ensuring that Giuseppe’s legacy continues to inspire and support others.
