Harriette Adams Graham

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harriette Adams Graham on Monday, March 17, 2025 at her home in Grovetown. She passed away aged 75, peacefully surrounded by her closest family. The daughter of the late Frank Montgomery Adams and Novella Horton Capps, Harriette was born in Bethesda, MD. As the daughter of a naval officer, Harriette’s childhood was spent in different locations from Virginia to California; from Connecticut to Hawaii. She graduated from Converse College in Spartanburg, SC and spent many years working in early childhood education. While at Converse, she met and later married her husband Gregg, and together they raised three children. The family settled in Evans, GA in 1990 and Harriette lived the remainder of her life there.

Harriette is survived by her son Andrew Graham (Carlena); daughter Melissa Graham (Jennifer Wright); brothers Clint Adams, Monty Adams, and Robert Adams; and grandchildren James, Evan, Matthew, Maelynn, Cadun, Kyndal, Jaxson, Serena, Jeremiah, and Alexander. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gregg D. Graham; parents Frank and Novella Adams; son William Montgomery “Monty” Adams; and brother David Adams.

A memorial service will be held Monday, March 31, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Church of the Holy Comforter in Martinez, Reverend Glenn Palmer officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and a private interment will follow after the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Church of the Holy Comforter or to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
