Henry W. Burough

Harlem, GA – Mr. Henry W. Burough, 60, beloved husband to Karen R. Burough, died on May 9, 2013 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Rev. Larry Harmon officiating. Interment with military honors to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mr. Burough was born in Marysville, CA. He is the son of Howard Burough and the late Elizabeth Burough. Mr. Burough served his country with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He moved to Augusta to be with his parents. After his military service, he drove eighteen wheel trucks for 26 years. Mr. Burough loved riding Harleys and also built custom bikes. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Mr. Burough is survived by his loving wife, Karen R. Burough; children, Amanda Burough (Neal Jennings), Laura Burough, and Jesse Burough; three grandsons, James, Chris, and Jesse; and brother, Frank Burough.

Mr. Burough was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Burough and his sister, Tina Burough.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening, May 10, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
