Herman Wheatley

Mr. Herman Wheatley, beloved husband of Virginia, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 22, 2022.
There will be a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Wesley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Greg Porterfield officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 10:00 a.m.
Mr. Wheatley was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church where he was active in Men in Missions and Relief and Recovery. He was also a member of the Savannah River Woodturners Club and, for many years, provided a meeting place for the group in his shop.
In addition to his wife, Virginia, he is survived by his children; Susan D. Wheatley, Alice W. Padgett (Wade) and Ginger W. Johnston (Michael); his grandchildren: Matthew, Jordan, Sarah, Emma and Hadley; his great grandchildren: Parker, Harrison and Claire; his brother, Douglas Wheatley; and his sisters: Shirley W. Butler and Mary Brown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
