Patricia Price

Patricia Newsome Price, 72, of Evans, GA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Patricia was born in Augusta, GA to the late Glen E. Newsome and Marjorie Kent Newsome on August 5, 1952. Patricia was an alumna of Evans High School. She was a dedicated Mama, Nana, Sister, Aunt and Friend who was greatly loved by all who knew her. 

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband John Cullen Price, Jr. and a brother, Edward Newsome. 

She is survived by her children, Angela Price of Evans, Cullen Price (Misty) of Evans, and Sarah Batioja (Boris) of Leland, NC; her grandchildren, Jade Price of Evans, Alexandra Price of Augusta, and Savannah Price of Leland, NC; her great-grandchildren, Riley Ward of Evans and Jaxon “Lil Jake” Price-Clardy of Augusta, grand-dogs Gator & Ume of Leland, NC and Earl of Evans and her fur baby, Boo Boo; her siblings, Glenda Martin, Terry Newsome (Althea), Penny Hand, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening, February 10, 2025, at the Belair Road Chapel of Platts Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Avera, Georgia. Pastor Clifton O’Bryan will officiate. 

Pallbearers will be Cullen Price, Colton Bosarge, Dylan Davis, Dalton Davis, Patrick Ward and Evan Clardy.
