Julia Christine Rosalie Chavez

Julia Christine Rosalie Chavez, 13, of Grovetown, passed away on February 13, 2023 at 1:35 am in Augusta, GA.

Julia was born in Augusta, GA to Jenna Randall & Dennis Chavez on November 12, 2009. She went to school at Harlem Middle School in Harlem, GA. She was involved in Chorus for many years, and Art. She received honors in Beta Club. Julia loved to sing, dance, draw and spend time with her family. She was a dedicated student and a joy to everyone she came in contact with.

Julia is preceded in death by Great Aunt, Michelle Wallace.

Julia is survived by her Mother, Jenna Randall (Matthew Bramlett); Father, Dennis Chavez and his wife Brittany; brothers, Jackson, Tristan, Michael; younger sister, Melody; Grandparents, Ernie & Lisa Randall, Melanie Hartley; Aunts, Rebbecca Chavez, Michelle & Stephen Bowen; Uncle Alex Randall (Cerina), several cousins and extended family and a village of Friends who loved her dearly.

The family of Julia wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the ER Staff at Doctors Hospital and the triage and shock trauma department of Augusta University as well as the team of nurses and specialists that did everything they could.

Special thanks to Christian Brothers Automotive for their generosity in helping with the funeral.

The Rosary will be recited at 5:00 PM on Thursday, February 16, 2023 followed by visitation until 8:00 PM at Platts Belair Road Chapel.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, February 17, 2023 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church with Father Mike Ingram officiating. Committal will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
