Karen’s story by numbers. 1 husband, 56 years of marriage – She would tell you that she was still looking, but she had not found anyone better. 3 sons, 3 daughters-in-law, 4 grandchildren, hundreds of school and sporting events – She never missed a single one. 49 states, 34 countries and 6 continents – Every place she went, she made a memory. 52 days – Her fight with leukemia was brief but brutal. What life she was given, she lived to the fullest. She left us with far too much life yet to live.
In addition to her husband, Allen, she is survived by her sons, Greg Baker (Kari), Richard Baker (Kristin) and David Baker (Charina), her grandchildren, Audrey, Laura, Jake and Luke, her sister, Darlene Williams, her stepmother, Betty Probasco, and her mother-in-law, Nell Baker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Evelyn Probasco and her father-in-law, Allen Baker, Sr.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Long, Jake Baker, Read Williams, Lew Stewart, Robert McCullough, and Dale Daniels.
In lieu of flowers, please make a gift in her name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at charity.gofundme.com/in-memory-of-karen-baker.
