Maria C. Mann

Maria C Mann of Evans Georgia passed away on November 5th, 2024 in Augusta, Georgia. 

Maria was born in Naples, Italy. She met her husband, David Mann, who served in the US Army in Naples. They were married on October 29, 1959. They enjoyed 50 years of marriage together before his passing in 2010. 

Maria was a wife and mother to five children. She was a grandmother to eleven grandchildren and great grandmother to three great grandchildren. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends with her fabulous cooking and was always a gracious hostess with a seat available at her table for all.

She enjoyed traveling the world and especially loved going back to her homeland.

Maria is survived by her son Fabio (Kelly), her son Dario(Julie), her daughter Sheila (Angel), her daughter Delia (Joey), her son Joe, 11 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She was loved and will be missed by all that knew her.

Funeral services will be held on November 11, 2024 at 10:00 at St Teresa’s of Avila. Burial will follow at Bellevue. Arrangements are by Platts Funeral Home.
