Marian Cooper Pardue

Mrs. Marian Cooper Pardue, 99, beloved wife of 54 years of the late Marion Pardue, entered into rest on February 8, 2024.

A graveside Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at West View Cemetery with Rev. Milton Summerall officiating.

Mrs. Pardue was born in Augusta to the late John Pate Cooper and the late Birtie Davis Cooper. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Pardue was also the “family babysitter” helping raise her many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Pardue is survived by her children, Jimmy Pardue, Tonya Pardue and Judy Pardue Davis (Delbert); and by her grandchildren, Jennifer Davis Ellingsworth (Jordan), April Davis Miller (Charlie), Tiffany Davis Clegg (Brian) and Joanna Davis Wallis (Miles).

The family would also like to give special thanks to Dr. Billy Thurmond and to Mrs. Pardue’s caregivers, Lavern Cummings, Christal Fuller and Barbara Robinson.
