Mary Ellen Plagwitz

Appling, GA – Mrs. Mary Ellen Plagwitz, 80, wife of 63 years to Mr. Henry Ernest Plagwitz, entered into rest on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at her residence.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm, at the residence of Jay and Rose Evans, 2639 Panda Lane, Appling, GA 30802. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

A native of Augusta, Mrs. Plagwitz was a member of West Acres Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Additional survivors are two sons, Henry Ernest Plagwitz, II (Dot James) of Augusta, GA, and Billy Plagwitz, Sr. (Cookie) of Lincolnton, GA; one brother, Junior Black (Polly) of Augusta, GA, five grandchildren, Rose Evans (Jay), Billy Plagwitz, II (Brandi), John Plagwitz (Jane), Henry Ernest Plagwitz, III, and Ellen Nicole Plagwitz; and 10 great grandchildren.
