Melvis H. Bartley

Melvis H. Bartley, loving wife of the late Dennis Earl Bartley, age 76 entered into rest on Sunday, January 3, 2021.

Melvis was born in Augusta to the late John Whittfield Heath and Phoebe Mason Heath. She will be remembered for her independence and strong will, and for her love of Elvis.

She is survived by her son, Steven Snead of Grovetown; two grandchildren, Aiden Snead and Mya Snead; two nephews, Donald Vaughn (Sabrina) and Wayne Vaughn; four nieces, Angelique Price (Gunther), Kimberly Birchmore (John), Lynn Salvo, and Gail Greer (Todd); and her faithful feline companions.

A graveside service will take place at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 8, 2021 at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
