Wayne Allen Sieweke, age 83, entered into rest on Saturday, June 27, 2020.

Wayne was born in Indiana to the late Emmett Waldo Sieweke and Anna Louise Williams Sieweke. He proudly served in the United States Army having served in Vietnam. Following his retirement Wayne was able to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a long-haul truck driver before suffering a stroke that completely changed his way of life. He remained positive through his trials which earned him the name “Mr. No Sweat” at the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home where he was a resident for eight years. He loved anything mechanical especially antique tractors, but above all he loved his family- especially his wife.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of nearly 60 years, Joan Sieweke; four children, Paul Sieweke of Miami, Florida, Mike Sieweke of Duluth, Theresa Williams (Andrew) of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Kaye Cox (Ken) of Dacula; and three grandchildren, Phillip Cox (Maleah) of Atlanta, Kinsey Cox of Atlanta, and Jessica Williams of Knoxville, Tennessee.

Services will be private.
