Nadine Pena

Nadine Dixon Pena transitioned peacefully from this world on November 5, 2024 to be with her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.

Ms. Pena was born on June 28, 1941 in Bristol, Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny & Mabel Dixon. She leaves behind a legacy of love and faith. She is survived by her children Keith Griffis and Kemela Fiveash (Derek); grandsons Justin Griffis, Jacob Stewart (Natalie), and Casey Stewart; and great-grandson Carter Stewart. She is also survived by siblings Warren Dixon (Nancy), Naomi Combs Cheeks, Larry Dixon (Alma) and Vonda Golden, along with a host of nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Ms. Pena was an inspiration to all who knew her, living a life of devotion, prayer, and spreading joy. She found happiness in life's simple pleasures and never worried about things outside of her control, but leaving those things with God. She may be gone, but her legacy lives on, and there is much comfort in knowing she is at peace. 

The family will recieve visitors from 12:00-2:00 PM, funeral services to begin at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Platt's Funeral Home, Belair Chapel, Pastor Harold Jones officiating. Burial will take place privately on a later date.
