Patricia Ann Dockal

Patricia “Ann” Dockal, age 85, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at her home in Evans, Ga. 

She was born in San Angelo, Texas on December 2, 1938 to the late Samuel and Edna Sperry. She grew up in Texas and graduated from the Providence School of Nursing in 1959, and worked as a registered nurse for 34 years. While in nursing school together, she met the love of her life, Harvey James Dockal, and they married in 1960 after graduating and enjoyed 58 years of marriage together.

Her faith was extremely important to her. She had been a long standing member of Wesley United Methodist Church, and had been a member there almost since its inception. She enjoyed bowling, and was a big fan of Elvis Presley. 

She is survived by her two daughters Paula (Rick) Salyer and Rebecca (Todd) Fagan; and grandchildren Jessica Dockal, Jonathan Dockal, and Zachary Fagan. Preceding her in death is her husband Harvey James Dockal; son Steven James Dockal; grandson Seth Fagan; and brother Sam Sperry, Jr. 

A funeral service will be held graveside at Westover Memorial Park on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM, Pastor Greg Porterfield officiating.
