Phillip E. Wilson

Mr. Phillip E. Wilson entered into rest on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the age of 59.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Elliott Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Evans First Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 1:00 until 3:00.
An Augusta area native, Phillip worked at Dixie LP Gas for over 20 years before he came to work at AirGas in 2007. He had also been a volunteer firefighter for Martinez Fire Department and Winfield Fire Department. He was a simple man who loved fishing, camping and enjoyed a more recent hobby in woodworking. His family will remember him as a hardworking and loving family man.
He is survived by his three daughters Faith Wilson (Adrianna), Jacie Wilson (Alexander), and Cameron Wilson (Dakoda), his father Monroe Wilson, his brother Thomas Wilson, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many friends including dear friend and mother of his children Denise Whitley (Pete). He was preceded in death by his mother Linda Partridge Wilson and brother Patrick Wilson.
