Ricky Edward Lewis

Mr. Ricky Edward Lewis, 61, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 2, 2025 in the Belair Road Chapel of Platt’s Funeral Home. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.

Ricky was born in Augusta in 1963 to James and Joyce Lewis. He attended Evans High School, where he graduated with honors. He went on to earn an electronic engineering degree from Augusta Technical College. After graduating, he started working with his father’s painting business. That work experience prepared him to own his own business after his father retired. In the last few years, he has worked for First Choice Builders as a quality control expert.

Ricky will be remembered for his loving heart and his unselfish kindness that he displayed to anyone in need. All that knew him loved him and he will be deeply missed. 

He is survived by his sister, Kimberly Pate and her husband, Brian, a nephew, Austin Pate, his niece, Cassidy Pate, and a great nephew, Weston Langford. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Joyce Lewis.
