Robert Wayne Paitsell

Robert “Bob” Wayne Paitsell, 79, passed away at his home in Evans on Thursday, December 5, 2024. Bob served in the Coast Guard during Vietnam. He was a loving father and grandfather and was beloved by many.

Viewing and visitation will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Platt’s Funeral Home in Evans, Ga. Funeral services will be held graveside at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens in Grovetown, Ga, Rev. Greg Porterfield officiating.

He is survived by his two sons, Christopher (Karen) Paitsell and Douglas (Brittany) Paitsell; daughter Shannon (Mark) Johnson; and grandchildren Pierce, Ellery, Luke, Nolan, Clayton, Kori, and Cary. Preceding Robert in death is his beloved wife of 38 years, Deborah S. Paitsell.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Columbia County Humane Society in his name.
