Rosemary passed away on March 17, 2025, at Brandon Wilde in Evans, Georgia. She was surrounded by her family before passing. She was dearly loved by the staff at Brandon Wilde, and we are forever grateful for their care.
Rosemary was born on October 16, 1932, in Waterbury, CT. She is the daughter of Alfredo and Concetta Paolino, who proceeded her in death. She graduated from Crosby High School in Waterbury in 1950. She worked in the office at Scovill Manufacturing out of high school. She was married for 66 years to the love of her life, Philip H, Eastman, Jr., who preceded her in death in 2021. Rosemary went back to work as a bookkeeper after taking several years off to raise her children and retired from Esselte Pendaflex in Augusta, Georgia.
Rosemary’s greatest joy was her faith and family, especially her grandchildren. She and Phil have three children: Philip H. Eastman, III (Pam), David A. Eastman (DeVona) and Lynnann E. Dupuis (Harold). They have 6 grandchildren: Carolyn Reed (Josh), Meghan Elliot (Grant), William Eastman, Kelsey Eastman, Paige Dupuis and Matthew Dupuis. Rosemary also has 4 great grandchildren: Addison Reed, Grace Elliot, Wyatt Reed and Charlie Elliot.
Rosemary was the consummate chef and entertainer, sharing with family and friends her Italian heritage. She and her husband traveled the world for pleasure and for her husband’s military service. She lived in Germany, France, Connecticut, Oklahoma, New Jersey, Alaska and Georgia. Upon retirement, Phil and Rosemary traveled the US and Europe extensively. They spend 10 years exploring the US, Mexico and Canada in their RV.
The services will take place on Monday, March 24th, as follows:

Rosemary will be laid to rest with Phil in a private ceremony at Georgia National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to her beloved charity:
